Do you Glow in the Dark?

We hear all the time to “be the light in the room” or “let your light shine.”

These are super cheesy sayings but they do have a deeper meaning. No one wants to be around the negative person.
I make it a priority of mine to stay away from anyone that is overflowing with negativity. It’s contagious and doesn’t do anyone any good.

What about the opposite direction? What does shining your light even mean?

Seth Godin’s recent blog “Glow in the Dark” post brought new meaning to me on “being the light” and comparing it to “glowing in the dark.”
When you glow in the dark you generate your own energy and you aren’t taking from anything else.

I stole a new way of thinking from this blog post and I hope you will too!
